I can’t wait to make these for Holiday gifts. Imagine instead giving the boring old slippers but POW you include these little handmade goodies. Great DIY!
DIY Goodbye Stinky Shoes Sachet Tutorial from Small Good Things here. This can be used in drawers, shoes etc… Emi also lists a link to a tutorial she made for a sachet for really stinky shoes that I posted last winter here. One holiday season I gave shoe bags (yes they sound boring but make great practical gifts that can be made with fun fabrics and used for jewelry, etc…) and these would be a good addition.

Rosewater Spray | Honestly WTF
I hate Summer. Seriously, I know it’s coming and I dreadit. Luckily I work in an air-conditioned office, but unfortunatley being at Reception means that the front doors are always opening/closing and the heat comes in. We have a tiny fan, but… yeah. A cooling, refreshing and skin loving rosewater spray is perfect for when you’re getting a bit hot under the collar, and a perfect gift at Christmas (especially in a tiny little bottle decorated with vintage ribbon!) Make sure you use roses that you know haven’t been treated with pesticides or other chemicals and distilled water so it’s nice and pure for your lovely skin!

DIY wallflowers scented plug-ins
plugin air fresheners (and tons of other stuff) have something called VOC in them. VOC stands for “volatile organic compounds” and they are highly toxic. they are chemicals with a low boiling point.
VOC cause all sorts of problems in your body: infertility (some of you may like that!), headaches, nervous system disorders, memory loss and cancer for both your pet and you…. lots of things.
In this tutorial you learn to replace the bad stuff with good stuff: essential oils, which are awesome for you and, sometimes a lot cheaper than the liquid cancer bath and body works sells.
