Fruit & Herbs Flavored Water Tutorials

    • For best flavor let ingredients sit for a few hours before serving.
    • I make these on large water bottles for the gym
    • You can serve this for outdoor summer parties (picnics, fourth of july,  garden weddings etc)
    • This is significantly lower in calories than juices, soda
    • Adding a bit of flavor to water can make it easier to drink more water than usual (sometimes it’s hard to drink 8 glasses of plain water a day)
    • I *think* if you are on the Weight Watchers Program fruits & herbs have 0 points (so it’ll count as if you’re drinking plain water) *I don’t know if they changed this points rule…please double check :)

    Cucumber & Green Tea Mojito

It’s that time of year when almost every food item seems to turn green. There’s green beer, green cakes, green eggs, and even green pizza (ewe!). I dunno, it seems that green occurs naturally in so many foods that you don’t really have to dye anything. Sure, a green beer is nice but I am going to stick to this mojito. It’s always green and always tasty!

DIY Rosemary Mint Shaving Cream Tutorial and Recipe from Food for My Family here. I get messages frequently about what DIY gifts to give men. This supposedly lasts outside the fridge for about a month. I will have to research where to get some of these ingredients cheaply but I assume most are available at large supermarkets, health food stores or Whole Foods.
