If you’re like us, you’ve got oodles of lipsticks lying around in a variety of fun shades. So why not use them to make a Valentine for someone you adore? They say love is in the air…so hang it on the wall for all to see!
To create: Apply lipstick to your lips. We used an assortment from our favorite brands: Chanel, Dior, Estée Lauder and Maybelline. Kiss a piece of paper over and over until the color fades. Reapply if necessary or use a different shade and create layers of multi-colored smooches for your loved one. Finish off by placing your personalized artwork in a frame. This is a excellent tip to save money and our makeup brushes! Just like hair - these brushes need TLC. Leave the conditioner on for 5 minutes for extra softness! Thanks cupandpenny!

Years ago for Christmas, my mom bought me a set of nice (expensive!) brushes from Bare Escentuals; I’ve been using them every day ever since. But they get a little grungy after much use, and the bristles start to feel rough after awhile.
So I went to purchase some (expensive) Bare Escentuals brush shampoo and conditioner, specially made for the brushes. I was going to pay a lot for them, but the lady at the store saved me! She said I could just use regular shampoo and conditioner (like the kind I use on my hair), and it would work just as well to clean and soften the bristles.
And she was right. I’ve been cleaning them that way every weekend since. It keeps them feeling nice on my skin, and keeps my skin from getting yucky bacteria on it. -
Dare to try this for Halloween! These girls are master makeup artist and probably don’t understand the scope of their artistry!
