1. I love Tumblr because you never know what will happen. I have to go in to the city to the North End to find them….and now I will just get them here! ConfectioneryBliss complimented my blog and I checked them out - which I always do when someone is being nice! I found out they come from NYC and sell these Italian cookies on Etsy! MY FAVORITE! These rainbow cookies are to die for! The brightly colored layers of almond cake are filled with raspberry jam and then melted chocolate has been spread all over them. Chocolate sprinkles cover the cookies.

(Sept, 2010) Autumn Leaves Wedding Cake (3 of 4): Apple Spice Cake with homemade applesauce filling, and Dulce de Leche Italian Meringue Buttercream. Leaves and wedding bands are marzipan. Four tiers, with diameters of 8”, 10”, 12”, and 14”, serves about 175 people.
