Today I would like to share with you this wonderful easy pull through hair braid. What’s so special about this braid is that it look a simple braid, but if you look closely, the little inverted hearts make you wonder how to make them.
I love those tutorials where they show you how to recreate a hair style that only takes four different pomades, 300 bobby pins and 7 arms. For some reason, my hair never looks the same as the picture, fancy that! If you can French braid (or braid if you’re like me!) and create a back comb, you can create this hairstyle. I like that it’s an updo but doesn’t feel too ‘done’, meaning if you get up earlier than me in the mornings, you could probably create this style (or something close to it!)
Keiko Lynn is my beauty hero. She seems to have perfected the cat eye, always has the most amazing lipstick and she can tie a hair scarf like a fiend! Sigh. Anyway, whilst perusing her site, I came across this fantastic tutorial on how to do an updo for short hair. I kind of sadly accepted I would no longer be able to put my hair up once I cut it, but this style which combines a teased crown, bobby pins & a pretty scarf is something even I could re-create! Perfect Summer hair!
