1. ps-imadethis: Spring forward and fall back in love with warm weather style! Chloé is one of our favorite go-to’s for whimsical yet structured looks, and we’ve had our DIY eye on this season’s midriff bearing tank. Its simple structure and embellished arrows point toward the perfect project, so we teamed up with our friends at Who What Wear to make this equally chic creation.  To create: Use a measuring tape to determine the desired length of the beaded trim, on your tank top . Trim four strips, leaving an extra 3” on each to allow for it to wrap onto the back of the top. Glue two strips of trim on either shoulder with fabric glue. Embellish the middle of the strips with gems and use excess materials to create an arrow.  Need a soundtrack for this week’s DIY?   2. ps-imadethis: Glam headphones are the latest it-accessory; and just as you wouldn’t toss your favorite necklace or earrings into your purse, these gems also deserve a special vessel. The rose gold adorned  Ella Earbuds by Frends  is our current fav, and they inspired us to create this on-the-go case that keeps our ear candy handy and untangled. To create: Use a sharpie to trace the pattern onto the backside of a piece of leather, then cut out. Punch a hole, with a leather punch, large enough to allow the headphone jack to pass through. Stitch on snap closures using needleand thread. Finish it off by using a dab of glue to adhere a flat back stud to the opposing side of each snap for a fun detail.      Need a playlist to match your new earbud accessory? I’ve always been fascinated (and slightly jealous) of those stuffy private schools who got to sport super cute prep school uniforms.  I think enforcing fashion is a fabulous policy!  I’ve decided to live vicariously through private school peeps and re-create an accessory that brings out my inner prep; with a little edge.  A few snips, a dabs of glue, some shiny ropes and chain is all it takes to turn posh inspired school fashion into an amazing accessory.
