  2. Party favors! Wow - I remember some glue that is specific for making fabric sturdy. I wonder if they still make it. Anyway, this is such a great idea!

I found this adorable crown craft here Joyfolie: DIY Wednesday - Lace Crowns, isn’t it sweet? I immediately wanted to give it a try. Although mine didn’t turn out as lovely as the one above, I’m happy with them, and the ladies who got them (my daughters) are as well.

I used some lace I had on hand and stiffened it with Crafter’s Pick Fabric Stiffener. After it dried (I used my embossing gun to hurry it along), I brought the ends together using Beacon’s Felt Glue (this glue is amazing for all sorts of things).
I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist Perfect Pearls and let that dry. I attached tiny pearl halves to the larger crown, outlined the tips with a sparkly pen and finished it off with a little cameo. For the smaller one I added 3 tiny white button brads.
These crowns are just a fun thing to display by themselves, on dolls, for children or even your own self!

  3. This girl was with her family as her baby bro/sis(?) got christened. I could not help but notice her hair matched her dolls - and she was none to pleased to be there.
